One of the solidarity initiatives to which Transports\u00a0Sol\u00e9s\u00a0is\u00a0fully\u00a0committed\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0Xevi\u00a0Project, an\u00a0association\u00a0focused on the\u00a0development\u00a0of the Third World, specifically, with\u00a0projects\u00a0in Senegal and\u00a0Gambia.\u00a0Presently we are\u00a0also\u00a0contributing with our\u00a0experience\u00a0in the\u00a0logistics\u00a0and transport sector.<\/p>\n

As of this\u00a0year, Transport\u00a0Sol\u00e9s\u00a0takes care\u00a0of the\u00a0collection,\u00a0storage\u00a0and\u00a0transportation\u00a0of\u00a0material\u00a0for the\u00a0Project\u00a0Xevi.\u00a0“We will\u00a0collect\u00a0everything\u00a0donated\u00a0to the\u00a0organization,\u00a0be\u00a0it\u00a0sports equipment,\u00a0educational\u00a0material,\u00a0toys, etc. Storing\u00a0it\u00a0in\u00a0stocks\u00a0within our\u00a0facilities\u00a0and, when the\u00a0time\u00a0comes,\u00a0it\u00a0will be\u00a0loaded\u00a0into\u00a0containers\u00a0to be\u00a0sent\u00a0by\u00a0sea\u00a0to Senegal or\u00a0Gambia”, explained\u00a0Francesc\u00a0Xavier\u00a0Sol\u00e9s,\u00a0owner\u00a0of Transport\u00a0Sol\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

During the first\u00a0months\u00a0of 2022, four\u00a0shipments\u00a0of divers kinds have been brought in, from various\u00a0parts\u00a0of the Spanish State.<\/p>\n

A long History of Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Project\u00a0Xevi\u00a0is one of the solidarity causes with which Transport\u00a0Sol\u00e9s\u00a0feels\u00a0identified\u00a0and has been\u00a0collaborating\u00a0for many\u00a0years.\u00a0The\u00a0association\u00a0was\u00a0born\u00a0in 2003 with the\u00a0aim\u00a0of alleviating the\u00a0shortcomings\u00a0of the least developed countries in the\u00a0field\u00a0of\u00a0health,\u00a0education, economic development and\u00a0infrastructure.\u00a0All projects are carried out after\u00a0working,\u00a0observing\u00a0and detecting in each\u00a0situation\u00a0the essential needs of the\u00a0areas\u00a0where we\u00a0operate, generally in Senegal and\u00a0Gambia.<\/p>\n

So that we could see firsthand and\u00a0on the\u00a0grounds\u00a0the\u00a0work\u00a0carried out by Project\u00a0Xevi, Transport\u00a0Sol\u00e9s\u00a0participated in a bicycle route that the\u00a0association\u00a0organized in the\u00a0Casamance\u00a0area, in Senegal and southern Gambia\u00a0in October 2021.\u00a0Francesc\u00a0Xavier\u00a0Sol\u00e9s,\u00a0owner\u00a0of Transport\u00a0Sol\u00e9s,\u00a0took part\u00a0in it\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n
